Is Office 2016 for Mac compatible with OS Catalina? Hello All- I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 on my mid-2012 13' MacBook Pro, and have not 'upgraded' to Catalina since I'm using Office 2011, and understand it's not compatible b/c of the whole Catalina 64-bit thing. Mojave supported mid-2010 or mid-2012 Mac Pro models with certain Metal-capable graphics processor, unfortunately, Catalina won’t. The only Mac Pro models that are supported are the Trash-can.

Make a backup

If the installer needs more storage space to upgrade, you can free up space using tools that come with your Mac.

If you’re using macOS Mojave or later, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Software Update. If you’re using an earlier macOS, use the App Store instead.
